Logo Design – Stone Cottage Bakery

I had the pleasure of designing a new logo for Sarah from Stone Cottage Bakery.

She created her existing logo a couple of years ago, which she’d done in Publisher. Now her business is growing, she felt is was time to get something more professional.

 

Sarah opted for the Premium Logo Design Package. The package includes competitor analysis and 5 logo design ideas. Also, a double sided business card design and a Facebook page profile and cover photo design.

 

Creative Brief Questions
I like to know about what my clients like and don’t like and along with lots more information. So I sent Sarah a standard set of questions I ask when it comes to logo design.

After chatting to Sarah, I found her to be a friendly person who pays lots of attention to detail.  I felt the logo design needed to appear friendly and welcoming to showcase the ‘brand voice’.

After I sent Sarah the competitor analysis report, it was time to sketch out some ideas.

 

 

Initial Logo Design Ideas
I sketched out a range of ideas and chose five to develop further.

I sent Sarah the initial design ideas to get her thoughts on them and after a few little tweaks, the logo was ready.

 

 

 

Business Card Design
For Sarah’s business cards I made sure the front was nice and simple with just the logo. The back included contact information along with social media sites: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Business cards can be a massive marketing tool for your business.

 

 

 

Facebook Page Profile & Cover Photo Design
It was then time to design the Facebook page cover photo design. It’s important to make sure Facebook page cover photos are now mobile-friendly. I designed Sarah’s cover photo to showcase all the amazing cakes she bakes and decorates. Beautiful wedding cakes to Birthday cakes and novelty cakes to intricate cupcakes.
