Dare to Grow with Lisa Bean


I first met Lisa in Newcastle at a mini mastermind event with Janet Murray and we connected on social media. A couple of months later and Lisa got in touch saying she’d love to talk about giving her visual branding a refresh. After speaking on the phone, we discovered what Lisa really needed was a complete rebrand, so I got to work straightaway. 

I had ideas in my head from the very first phone call with Lisa, talking about her business, future vision, brand values and who she loves to help. Lisa is a transformational speaker and 6-figure business coach helping men and women create, launch and sell group coaching programmes and/or online courses.

After going through the start of the Premium Branding package process, I got working on creating the initial logo design ideas for Lisa and then we went through them together (you can see this in Lisa’s vlog here).

Originally Lisa had ‘Dare to Grow’ as all one word, but I decided to throw in a curveball with one of the logo designs and lay the words out separately. Lisa wanted a bold, striking logo because she’s all about being bold and taking action, encouraging her clients and audience to do that same! To achieve this I used bold, striking fonts and colours. We also looked at incorporating a Phoenix into the design because after doing some research I found the Phoenix holds a lot of symbolism totally inline with Lisa’s core message! A Phoenix is a sign you are about to begin a new season of life. As a spirit animal it shows you’re a passionate person who will achieve your dreams and it’s a sign of rebirth. This seemed perfect to include in Lisa’s logo.

I then carried the new brand through to Lisa’s social media banners and social media graphics. I now work with Lisa on a monthly basis to ensure all her graphics are on brand.
